AFC AFTCH Rosehill's Mr Speaker MH OS CCA FDHF
Speaker's Puppyhood and Field Career
Speaker was a very precocious puppy. He started his training the day he came home and learned "speak", "sit", and "here" his first day and terrorized us all! He had no fear and was very bold. Speaker was amateur trained from puppyhood by Lorie Jolly.
Speaker earned a place on the National Derby list with two wins even with a terrible February birthday. He jammed the very first
Amateur he entered the day of his 2nd birthday and became an AFC at the young age of 4.
Speaker won several GRCA National Specialties and was the only Golden to qualify for the 2000 National Amateur. He earned
his AFTCH (Canadian AFC) in 2001 qualifying for both the Canadian National and the Canadian National Amateur with 2 wins.
Speaker was the top Amateur Golden in 1998, 1999, and 2000 retiring the Granatt Brothers trophy and in the top 10 Amateur Dogs
in Canada in 2001. Speaker was a dog that could go from visiting with folks to stepping up to the line knowing it was time to work.
He was a real competitor and could pull out those straight lines on water blinds and long water marks.
